Silvia Brunelli
Silvia Brunelli spent her youth in Germany, Poland, and the US, and in her spare time she has travelled the world from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego and from New Zealand to Greenland. She graduated in Modern Literature and later obtained a postgraduate scholarship as researcher at the European University Institute. In that period she also worked as a translator, as author of travel guides, and wrote essays about Hugo von Hofmannsthal and about French-German expressionist poet Ivan Goll. After a long career, more than one decade, in teaching Literature and Literary Translation at university level, in 1987 she founded Nabu International Literary Agency, at first representing international publishers and agents into the Italian marketplace. Later it came quite natural, being multilingual and well travelled, to shift the focus on international authors for worldwide rights. -
